Formal adoption of 2019/2020 deep-sea fishing opportunities

17/12/2018 (Agence Europe) – The EU Council of Ministers adopted without debate on Monday 17 December in Brussels the Regulation fixing, for 2019 and 2020, the fishing opportunities for EU fishing vessels for certain deep-sea fish stocks (see EUROPE 12141). The French and Spanish delegations made a joint statement in which they undertook to implement coordinated national plans to rebuild the stock of sea bream in ICES sub-areas 6 to 8.
