SatCab, co-legislators meet in December

Negotiators in the European Parliament and the EU Council failed to complete the draft regulation on ending geographical blockage in the EU for certain radio and television programmes (the so-called ‘SatCab' proposal), as they had hoped. However, against all expectations, they agreed to meet again before the end of the year. 

According to our information, Parliament and the Council have agreed to apply the country of origin principle (Article 2) to broadcasters' information and news...
