05/11/2018 (Agence Europe) – The three finalists for the European Parliament's 2018 LUX PRIZE will be screened in Brussels and other in European cities on 6, 7 and 8 November as part of the Lux film days. In Brussels, the screening will be accompanied by an introduction from each director and a question and answer session. As a reminder, the Lux Prize rewards each year a European film illustrating the universality of European values and cultural diversity. This year's three finalists are ‘The Other Side of Everything' by Mila Turajlić (Serbia/France/Qatar), ‘Woman at War' by Benedikt Erlingsson (Iceland/France/Ukraine) and ‘Styx' by Wolfgang Fischer (Germany/Austria). The winning film will be selected and announced by members of the European Parliament on 14 November in Strasbourg. It will receive promotional support during its international release and will be adapted for the visually and hearing impaired. (SPj)
