EU says impartiality of constitutional court and electoral commission are essential for credible elections

On Thursday 30 August, the European External Action Service (EEAS) said the European Union underlined the importance that transparency and impartiality of the constitutional court and Independent National Electoral Commission (CENI) of the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) will have for the credibility of the presidential elections in the DRC on 23 December 2018.
