31/08/2018 (Agence Europe) – Eurozone annual inflation was down to 2.0% in August, from 2.1% in July, according to a flash estimate published by the statistical office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Friday 31 August. Looking at the main components of the inflation, energy is expected to have the highest annual rate in August (9.2%), followed by food, alcohol & tobacco (2.5%), services (1.3%) and non-energy industrial goods (0.3%).
