MEPs again protest against cuts in agricultural funding for 2021-2027 period

On Wednesday 29 August, MEPs at the agriculture committee again protested against the Commission proposal to reduce agricultural funding over the 2021/2027 period.

On Wednesday, the European Parliament’s agriculture committee discussed the draft opinion by Peter Jahr (EPP, Germany) on the interim report for the 2021-2027 Multiannual Financial Framework (MFF) ('Parliament's position in view of an agreement').

The draft opinion is again calling for the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP)...
