During the second quarter of 2018, seasonally adjusted GDP grew by 0.4% in the Eurozone and the European Union compared to the first quarter, according to a flash estimate published by the statistical office of the EU (Eurostat) on Tuesday 14 August.
Of the countries for which data are available, the creation of wealth was greatest in Romania (+1.4%), Sweden and Slovakia (+1.0% each). It stood at +0.6% in Spain, +0.5% in Germany and +0.2% in France and Italy.
