22/08/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 23 August, ambassadors from the Political and Security Committee are meeting to discuss the EunavforMed Sophia operation. According to one European source, they are also expected to reach an agreement at this meeting on the appointment of Rear Admiral Stefano Turchetto to the post of EU commander for the Sophia Operation.
