Toll road operators against charges for external costs and congestion

23/07/2018 (Agence Europe) – The European Association of Operators of Toll Road Infrastructures (ASECAP) has announced in a press release that it opposes the introduction of charges for external costs and congestion in the revision of Directive 1999/62/EC (the Eurovignette directive).  It is against the approaches taken by the European Commission in its proposal of last year (see EUROPE 11799) and by the European Parliament in May of this year (see EUROPE 12026).  The toll road operators...
