Strengthening cooperation between the EU and Greenland after 2020 was at the heart of the meetings between European Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development Neven Mimica and Greenland's Minister for Education, Culture, the Church and Foreign Affairs Vivian Motzfeldt in Brussels on 20 July.
The European Commission stated that Motzfedlt said the special partnership with the EU was a "political priority of the new government" of Greenland.
