Commission gives green light to reducing nuclear levy for electro-intensive users in Slovakia

06/07/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 6 July, the European Commission authorised the Slovak plan to grant reductions on a nuclear levy to certain electro-intensive users from 2019.  The Commission considers that this measure is proportionate and limited to companies that are active in electro-intensive sectors exposed to international trade.  On this basis, the Commission concluded that the Slovakian plan is in line with EU state aid rules.  According to the Commission, the...
