04/07/2018 (Agence Europe) – According to the European Parliament's research body, Erasmus + is a tool that works. The research body carried out a study for the Parliament's culture committee to assess the results of the Erasmus + programme, the decision-making procedures used in the programme, and the conclusions of the European Commission's mid-term evaluation. Overall, the 120-page study confirms the strong added value of the Erasmus + programme, for which all the funding is absorbed every year. The study nevertheless states that the inclusive nature of the programme could be improved, as well as the communication of its results and the synergies with other funds oriented towards the human. Among the recommendations, the research body suggests paying more attention to the training of adults and facilitating access to funding for the smallest projects.
