EBRD approves €500 million loan for construction of TransAdriatic pipeline

04/07/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 4 July, the board of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) gave its green light to a €500 million loan for the TransAdriatic pipeline (TAP) that will link Greece, from its border with Turkey, to the south of Italy, by crossing Albania then the Adriatic Sea.  TAP is the last section of the Southern Gas Corridor that is intended to channel gas from the Caspian region to Europe.  With an annual capacity of 10 billion cubic...
