EU revises action plan on maritime security

26/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 26 June, the Council of the EU adopted conclusions on revision of the EU maritime security strategy (EUMSS) action plan.  The EUMSS action plan was adopted for the first time on 16 December 2014.  Revision allows a more focused reporting process to enhance awareness and better follow-up to the strategy, the Council press release states.  The action plan addresses global maritime risks and threats, including cross-border and organised crime,...
