Interinstitutional technical meeting on Friday 29 June on technical measures for fishing

26/06/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 26 June, sources confirmed the cancellation of Parliament/Council political negotiations (“trialogue”) scheduled for 27 June on technical fishing measures (see EUROPE 12046).  A “technical” meeting should take place, however, on Friday 29 June.  Negotiations are still stumbling over the question of electro-pulse fishing in particular.   Parliament has taken a stance against electric fishing (see EUROPE 12035), while the Council had decided...
