EEAS asked to improve operational efficiency of EU civilian missions in Niger and Mali

In a report published on Thursday 14 June, the European Court of Auditors (ECA) said that "working in a challenging context", the two EU missions aiming to strengthen civilian capacity in Niger (EUCAP Sahel Niger) and Mali (EUCAP Sahel Mali) "contributed to strengthening capacity, but each encountered difficulties, which reduced the efficiency and sustainability of their operations".
