14/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Monday 14 May, the Council of Ministers of the EU adopted, without debate, the decision to terminate the fisheries partnership agreement between the EU and Comoros, taking the view that not enough was being done to combat illegal, unreported and unregulated (IUU) fishing (see EUROPE 11982 and 11874). In July 2017, the EU showed a red card to Comoros when it included the island nation on its list of “non-cooperating” countries (see EUROPE 11827). (LC)
