Delegation of MEPs in Uganda, country facing crisis of refugees from South Sudan

07/05/2018 (Agence Europe) – A delegation of MEPs from the development committee of the European Parliament, led by Linda McAvan (S&D, UK), is currently on a mission to Uganda (7-11 May). The aim is to measure the impact of the crisis of refugees from South Sudan on this East African country that is hosting 1.4 million of them and to visit EU-funded projects to assist refugees and their host communities.
