Wim van de Camp spends night in lorry parked in secure parking area

25/04/2018 (Agence Europe) – Wim van de Camp MEP (EPP, Netherlands), Parliament's rapporteur on lorry drivers’ working time (see EUROPE 11996), spent the night of 23-24 April in a lorry parked in a secure parking area. This initiative was carried out by the International Road Transport Union (IRU) and aimed to underline the need to speed up the introduction of parking infrastructure in Europe.
