05/04/2018 (Agence Europe) – The EU programme for research and innovation, Horizon 2020, which aims to “fast track innovation on the market”, will benefit 257 small and medium-sized enterprises (SME) from 31 different states in the amount of €12.65 million. Undertakings are mainly from Spain (45), Italy (28) and Israel (23). They will each receive €50,000 to carry out a feasibility study of their innovation project. This procedure corresponds to “phase 1” of the SME-dedicated subsidy mechanism. The list of beneficiary companies is available at: http://bit.ly/2lyesBY. During “phase 2”, SMEs may receive up to €2.5 million each to carry out concrete testing of innovations. SMEs have until May 2018 to apply for the next “phase 1” of the programme. (MS, trainee)
