On Tuesday 27 March, the Bulgarian Presidency of the Council and representatives of the European Parliament reached a definitive inter-institutional agreement on the proposed omnibus regulation on a mid-term review of the legislation on the use of the structural and investment funds (ESI funds) (see EUROPE 11924).
At this trialogue session, the two co-legislating institutions agreed that the future European rules would enter into force in two stages.
