13/03/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 13 March, the European finance ministers added St Kitts and Nevis, the Bahamas and the US Virgin Islands to the blacklist of non-cooperative jurisdictions in taxation matters. These countries are among eight jurisdictions hit by a natural disaster last year. They were therefore given extra time to send in their commitments. The countries in question were Antigua and Barbuda, Anguilla, the Bahamas, the British Virgin Islands, Dominica, St Kitts and Nevis, the Turks and Caicos Islands and the American Virgin Islands. The others have been put onto the grey list of countries presenting problems, but which have made commitments to resolve them. Bahrain, the Marshall Islands and St Lucia have also been added to the grey list. (Original version in French by Élodie Lamer)
