13/03/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 13 March, the European Commission appointed Ms Brunhilde Elisabeth Schültke to the post of principal legal advisor in the Commission’s legal service. Following a career at the German Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Ms Schültke joined the European Commission's Translation Service in 1990 and its Legal Service in 1994. She has carried out several roles such as Legal Reviser and head of sector, followed by her work at the "quality legislation" team in 2014 as an expert and then as head of unit from 2017. She will begin her new role on 16 March. (MF)
