12/03/2018 (Agence Europe) – The EU Council has prolonged the restrictive measures over actions undermining or threatening the territorial integrity, sovereignty and independence of Ukraine for a further six months, until 15 September 2018. These people are subject to asset freezes and travel restrictions. "An assessment of the situation did not justify a change in the sanctions regime", the Council stated in a press release. The legal acts linked to this prolongation will be published in the EU Official Journal on 13 March 2018. These measures were introduced in March 2014 and ran until 15 March 2018. (CG)
