Commission hopes to open approval process of EU-Singapore free trade agreement text in mid-April

08/03/2018 (Agence Europe) – During her visit to Singapore on Friday 2 March, European Trade Commissioner Cecilia Malmström said that"in mid-April, the European Commission hopes to submit the text of the EU-Singapore free trade agreement for final approval, and after that it will be in the hands of our Parliament".  She added that they hoped it could be in force"by the end of the year".  The EU-Singapore free trade agreement is the first to be negotiated and finalised by the EU...
