EU underlines involvement of HCR in return of Rohingya Muslims

On Friday 2 March, High Representative of the EU for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Federica Mogherini reiterated that it was "necessary for the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees to be fully associated with the process" of the Rohingya refugees returning from Bangladesh (see EUROPE 11945).  In the conclusions they adopted on 26 February, the foreign affairs ministers had called for this same involvement (see EUROPE 11969).
