23/02/2018 (Agence Europe) – On the sidelines of the European summit, European Council President Donald Tusk warned Poland's Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki about the country's bad reputation internationally and asked him to do his utmost to turn back two waves – that of "bad opinions" as regards Poland, and that of "anti-Semitic excesses that are unacceptable". Tusk told his compatriot from the PiS party that the "situation is very serious and concerns the reputation of our country and its overall position in the world". "This must stop". According to Tusk, the party in power in Poland has the means to be able to stop all this. "The resolve is needed". The ministers of European affairs will for their part review the rule of law situation on 27 February at the General Affairs Council. (SP)
