MEPs still oppose inclusion of Tunisia on black list of countries at risk

On Monday 5 February, several members of the European Parliament spoke out against the Commission's decision to include Tunisia on the European blacklist of jurisdictions at risk concerning the fight against money laundering and the financing of terrorism.

Marie-Christine Vergiat (GUE/NGL, France) expressed her “surprise and incomprehension” at the decision. She has tabled a motion to reject the delegated acts proposed by the Commission in December in a vote at Thursday's plenary session...
