Christos Stylianides starts tour of European capitals to present 'RescEU'

05/01/2018 (Agence Europe) – On Friday 5 January, the European Commissioner for Humanitarian Aid and Crisis Management, Christos Stylianides, began a European tour to present the competent ministers with RescEU, the reinforced European civil protection mechanism, proposed by the Commission to come to the aid of countries whose capacity to deal with a disaster is insufficient (see EUROPE 11911).
