EU interior ministers asked to adopt new eu-LISA rules to prepare for interoperability of information systems

The EU interior ministers are to meet on Thursday 7 December in order to adopt a general approach on the European agency for large-scale IT systems (eu-LISA), and to discuss the future of the Schengen area – especially as part of the reform proposed by the European Commission at the end of September (see EUROPE 11871).
