Railway stakeholders propose measures to prevent another 'Rastatt'

22/11/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 21 November, the European Rail Freight Association (ERFA), the Réseau de chemins de fer européens (NEE - Netzwerk Europäischer Eisenbahnen) and the UIRR - International Union for Road-Rail Combined Transport published a press release in which they propose a raft of measures to take at a European level in order to avoid similar problems that followed the Rastatt tunnel incident last August (see EUROPE 11855) from reoccurring.
