Ahead of the sixth round of free trade negotiations between the EU and Mercosur (Argentina, Brazil, Paraguay and Uruguay) in Brussels on 5 December, European sugar producers and sugar beet growers urged the European Commission on Tuesday 21 November to reject any attempt to include sugar in the EU's revised offer to Mercosur.
