COP 23 - civil society disappointed at prioritisation of carbon market over adaptation funding

With COP 23 approaching the final phase of negotiations in Bonn on Friday 17 November, international civil society, campaigning for climate justice, reproached the rich nations – including the EU and its member states – for talking big but doing too little to turn into reality its commitments towards the developing countries, and in particular Africa and the small island states which are bearing the full brunt of the impact of climate change.

And the prospect of COP 24 in 2018 being held...
