European Parliament takes tough stance against sexual harassment, having itself come under suspicion

At the beginning of this week's plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg on Monday 23 October, the members of the European Parliament decided to move the anticipated debate on measures taken in the EU to tackle sexual harassment and abuse to the top of their agenda, following recent revelations in the American cinema industry and the global campaign #MeToo, agreeing to adopt a resolution on the matter in the near future.
