Member states to vote on 25 October on plan to authorise glyphosate for ten more years

12/10/2017 (Agence Europe) – On 25 October, member states’ experts on the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed (PAFF) will vote on a European Commission proposal to renew for ten years the authorisation for the glyphosate herbicide.  The information was put on the Commission’s website on Thursday 12 October, the day after a hearing at the European Parliament on Monsanto Papers (see EUROPE 11881).  The wording of the proposal has not been changed since the last PAFF...
