Final adoption of  Wifi4EU programme

09/10/2017 (Agence Europe) – The adoption procedure for the Wifi4EU credit programme is now over. On Monday 9 October, the Council of the EU approved the compromise negotiated with Parliament. The latter had already ratified the text on 12 September last. It should be recalled this programme seeks to install free wi-Fi internet access points in more than 6,000 localities in the European Union by 2020.
