23/08/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 9 August, the European Commission authorised the joint acquisition by the companies Peugeot S.A. and BNP Paribas of General Motors’ subsidiaries financing Opel/Vauxhall vehicles in Europe. The Peugeot company, whose main business is manufacturing and selling vehicles, is also active in the financing of Peugeot, Citroën and DS vehicles.
