Duration of entry ban must start on day when non-EU national leaves country in question

In Case C-225/16 on Wednesday 26 July, the European Court of Justice ruled that the duration of a ban on a non-EU national entering a particular member state who has been removed from the country should be calculated from the time when the individual leaves the country, not before.
