On Monday 24 July, the European Commission decided to open an in-depth investigation into the planned buyout of Haldex by Knorr-Bremse.
Along with the company Wabco, Haldex and Knorr-Bremse are two of the largest producers of brake components and systems for commercial vehicles within the European Economic Area.
