Commission proposal on glyphosate to be debated with member states on Thursday 20 July

19/07/2017 (Agence Europe) – The discussion between member state experts and the Commission on the latter’s proposal to renew the authorisation of glyphosate in the EU for a further 10 years will finally take place on Thursday 20 July at the Standing Committee on Plants, Animals, Food and Feed (PAFF). On Tuesday, Commission services informed EUROPE and that the discussion would take place on Wednesday 19 July, as we previously mentioned in our daily news bulletin (see EUROPE 11832).  (AN)
