Eurozone annual inflation rate stands at 1.3% in June

The annual inflation rate in the Eurozone is down 0.1 percentage points compared to May 2017, according to a press release issued by the statistical office of the European Union (Eurostat) on Monday 17 July.

Between June 2016 and June 2017, consumer prices rose by 1.3% in the Eurozone. This rate is slightly down compared to May of this year, when annual inflation stood at 1.4%. These figures confirm those of a Eurostat flash estimate published on 30 June (see EUROPE 11820). At EU level, this...
