Two MEPs press Commission to take Monsanto Papers into account in examining Bayer takeover of Monsanto

Incensed by the Monsanto papers revelations, MEPs Eric Andrieu (S&D, France), a specialist in agricultural matters, and Marc Tarabella (S&D, Belgium), a specialist in consumer rights, have the bit between their teeth.

In addition to campaigning for a Parliamentary committee of enquiry to shed light on the scandal, they put written questions to European Competition Commissioner Margrethe Vestager on Thursday 23 June.

They want to know if Vestager intends to take the revelations into account...
