European Parliament seeking to enhance cohesion policy visibility

14/06/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Tuesday 13 June, MEPs adopted (469 for, 51 against, 13 abstentions) an own initiative report to increase commitments from partners and the visibility of the way in which structural funds are used. The report was submitted by Daniel Buda (EPP, Romania) and seeks to improve communication as well as strengthen commitments from partners during the second half of the 2014-20 period, as well as further develop communications regarding post-2020 cohesion policy.
