EU adopts Annual Action Programme 2017 of the Partnership Instrument

On Wednesday 14 June, the European Commission adopted the Annual Action Programme 2017 (AAP2017) of the Partnership Instrument, approving 19 new projects totalling more than €87 million. This instrument aims to work with international partners to defend strategic interests of the EU and to propose solutions to global issues.

For 2017, the European Commission has laid particular emphasis on climate action, clean energy, biodiversity and green diplomacy. It will implement projects in China...
