Visa waiver regime for Ukrainian nationals adopted

11/05/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Thursday 11 May, the Council of the EU endorsed the visa liberalisation regime for Ukrainian nationals who have biometric passports (see EUROPE 11763). Application of the system is expected to begin in June and will involve citizens who have a Ukrainian passport, even if they come from disputed geographical zones.
