Start of procedure aiming to examine possible lifting of Marine Le Pen's immunity

26/04/2017 (Agence Europe) – On Wednesday 26 April, the European Parliament initiated the process which could lead to the lifting of parliamentary immunity for leader of the ENF Group, Marine Le Pen – who is currently running for the presidency of France (see EUROPE 11714).  French justice would like to continue its investigation into suspicions of fictitious parliamentary assistant jobs in the Front National at the European Parliament.  This request was"sent to the European...
