Ministers will examine how to stimulate private investment in Africa and stop people leaving
Brussels, 05/04/2017 (Agence Europe)

During their informal meeting on Friday 7 and Saturday 8 April in Valletta, European finance ministers will be looking at how help create new economic opportunities through private investment for people in North and Sub-Saharan Africa who feel tempted or obliged to emigrate to the European Union.

Given its geographic location, the Maltese presidency of the Council of the EU intends to provide a decidedly Mediterranean twist to the European work programme during the first half of 2017.
