On Wednesday 5 April, the Greek Prime Minister, Alexis Tsipras, called for a Eurozone summit to be held if the Eurogroup, to meet in Valetta on Friday 7 April, fails to reach an agreement on the measures the Greek government must adopt to comply with its budgetary commitments in exchange for a new tranche of financial assistance.
