31/03/2017 (Agence Europe) – The president of the Eurogroup, Jeroen Dijsselbloem, announced that the eurozone finance ministers would not reach a political agreement finalising the second monitoring mission of the third Greek bailout plan in Valetta on Friday 7 April, Dutch media reported on Friday 31 March. Stressing the progress made in the ongoing negotiations (see EUROPE 11757), he expressed his hopes that Athens and its institutional creditors would be in a position rapidly to agree on the reforms that the Greeks must apply in exchange for financial assistance, the budgetary trajectory that Greece must comply with post-2018 and medium-term relief measures for the Greek debt.
