Still no agreement from institutions on organic products

08/03/2017 (Agence Europe) – The EU institutions did not manage to find a compromise during their umpteenth trialogue on organic products (see EUROPE 11734), which took place in Brussels on Wednesday 8 March.  Despite the progress made on some sections of the text, the most difficult issues (such as the pesticide thresholds in organic products) remain open, according to various sources.  A technical meeting will take place on 15 March and the next trialogue is scheduled for 22 March....
